Location

Tel Aviv is located 20KM from Ben-Gurion international airport, from which you can arrive at the city by taxi, by bus or by train.

Buses

Buses leave the airport from Terminal 3 on the second level, next to gates 21 and 23, to the Egged Bus station at nearby Airport City. There you can transfer to various lines that run to Tel Aviv’s central bus station. A bus from the airport to the central station costs NIS 17 and runs on weekdays until midnight.

Taxis

The taxi stations and dispatcher’s counter work 24 hours and are located on Level G, near Exit 3 of the greeter’s hall. The taxi services are regulated and based on tariff 1 (between 5:30AM and 9PM) and tariff 2 (9PM-5:30AM and Saturdays), which is 25% higher. The price of a taxi to Tel Aviv is NIS 100-120, and though tipping is not expected, it would not be refused.

Trains

Trains to the city depart from Level S in the lowest floor, and can be accessed via elevators, escalators or stairs. They run from 3AM until midnight (except Saturdays), take 10-15 minutes and cost 12 NIS. Tickets can be purchased from automatic machines located on Level G.

November to April is the wet season, so the best season to enjoy the Tel Aviv beaches may not be during this period.
